Leon Craig

comes from a family with a strong faith in God and lives by the mantra, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me” (Philippians 4:13 KJV). He began his modeling career at the age of 18 in Gastonia, North Carolina when he was discovered by a modeling agency booker. After being picked up by Model Shop Modeling Agency in Charlotte, NC, he went on to be featured in local print campaigns and runway fashion shows.

Although Leon had a successful year of modeling in Charlotte, he decided to relocate to Atlanta, Georgia to advance his career. There, he captured the attention of an agent at Elite Model Management and was soon signed on. Leon posed for retailers such as Rich’s and Macy’s department stores as his career was on the rise!

At his agent’s suggestion, Leon auditioned for the Ebony Fashion Set which was based out of Chicago, IL. This was a coveted role for an up-and-coming model to obtain, as they toured the entire United Sates. Leon was one of the few models selected to be a part of the Ebony Fashion Set and walk the runway all across the Nation. At the end of a year of touring, he decided take the plunge and explore career advancements in New York City.

Upon his arrival in the Big Apple, Leon discovered that it was the city of opportunity and he had only scratched the surface in the modeling and fashion industries. At the age of 21, he went on to sign with Zoli Model and began to be featured in international advertising campaigns such as Jordache jeans, Kool cigarettes, Soft-Sheen, S-Curl, and Christian Brothers Liquors.

Because of increased exposure and his move to Click Models New York, Leon was able to secure editorial spreads in G.Q., Esquire, Ebony Man, Men’s Fitness, Men’s Health, SELF, Details, VIBE, Essence (named Man of the Month), Allure, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, ELLE, Uptown, Upscale and many other fashion and health publications.
